Teens Helping Each Other (THEO) is an Adolescent Education Program based at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. As an HIV, STD, and Pregnancy Prevention program, THEO trains and utilizes teens in order to educate their peers about sexual health and preventive methods through the use of interactive workshops, theatre improvisational techniques, and outreach.
It's that time of the year when THEO is welcoming new Peer Educators and Youth Health Advocates! On Friday, May 25, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm, we will be holding our open house. At the open house we will speak about our open position in the program as well as what these positions are responsible for. You will be about to sign up for an interview after the open house. Light refreshments will be served.
